When Kiana and Tanya reached out months before their October wedding, we knew their day was going to be a good one. They were traveling all the way from Australia with Kiana’s parents, making their very first trip to the United States even more memorable by getting married in Las Vegas. They booked our four-hour package, giving us plenty of time to move through the city from daylight into neon-lit streets.

As a Las Vegas wedding and elopement photographer and videographer duo, we always recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially if you’re planning an October wedding. Fall is one of the busiest seasons here, and while the calendar says autumn, Vegas temperatures often still reach into the 90s.

Since it’s Pride Month, this felt like the perfect time to share their Las Vegas lesbian wedding. We proudly photograph weddings for couples of every identity because we believe every love story deserves to be celebrated!

A Little White Chapel Wedding with Elvis

The day started at the iconic Little White Chapel inside the Tunnel of Love. Kiana and Tanya chose the Pink Cadillac ceremony with Elvis officiating. It’s one of our favorite ways to experience the chapel. If you’re looking for a ceremony that’s interactive, playful, and full of personality, Elvis brings so much energy. Between the singing, dancing, and laughs, the ceremony is truly a memorable experience.

Their wedding style fit the day perfectly. Kiana wore a dramatic cape that moved beautifully in every photo, and both brides wore Doc Martens.

After the ceremony, we spent time around the chapel capturing portraits. Then, we made our way to one of the most iconic photo stops in the city.

The “Married in Fabulous Las Vegas” Sign and Downtown Adventure

Our first stop was Chapel of the Flowers for the “Married in Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. It’s such a fun way to celebrate being newly married before heading into downtown, especially for couples visiting Las Vegas for the first time.

From there, we headed over to Downtown Tattoo. Although Kiana and Tanya weren’t getting tattooed until the following day, they had permission to take photos inside the shop. The space is filled with vintage signs, colorful artwork, and glowing neon that creates such a fun backdrop. Every wall has its own personality! It’s one of our favorite places for couples who want something a little different.

By the time we stepped back outside, golden hour had arrived. We wandered through the surrounding streets. We stoped at colorful walls, the classic motel signs, and Fergusons Downtown. It’s one of our favorite areas to take elopement photos because everything is within walking distance. Between the desert landscaping, local art, and interesting architecture, there’s no shortage of beautiful places to explore.

Classic Vegas Lights After Dark

Our next stop was El Cortez, which remains one of our favorite casinos for wedding photos thanks to its vintage slot machines. It has a timeless Vegas feel that’s perfect for couples who want a mix of playful and nostalgic pictures.

Then, we headed to Plaza Hotel and Carousel Bar. Plaza still glows with its original incandescent bulbs. It gives the entire entrance a warmth that’s difficult to find anywhere else in Las Vegas. Kiana and Tanya grabbed a booth at Carousel Bar, ordered drinks, and spent a few quiet minutes together before we continued exploring.

One of the things we love most about longer wedding coverage is having time for moments like this. Instead of rushing from one location to the next, couples get to actually experience the city. They can grab a drink together, enjoy their first meal as newlyweds, or simply take it all in while we document everything along the way.

Ending the Night at Tacos El Gordo

Our final stop of the evening was Tacos El Gordo. By this point, Kiana and Tanya were ready for dinner after a full day of exploring Las Vegas, so we kept portraits short before letting them dig into their tacos. Ending a wedding day with great food always feels like the perfect way to celebrate!
