To give you a lil backstory on how we fell hard for Super 8 videos, we bought one for fun once upon a time ago and the rest was history. It was literally love at first watch.
And what we love most about it is that there are no re-dos.
Like your wedding day, you get one chance. It’s one and done! This medium demands making the most out of the memories that will pass you by, even if you find yourself wishing they’d go by a bit slower.
When working with Super 8, you never know what the outcome will be, and we kind of love that. It captures you, authentically so! The details you notice during that initial watch-through are something that images alone can’t replicate. Each roll of Super 8 film records up to 2.5 minutes of footage. After editing, the final video typically averages just under 2.5 minutes, ensuring you have a beautifully condensed version of your day.
3. Do you provide sound with the Super 8 video?
Super 8 film does not record sound. However, any song you choose can be edited over the footage during post-production, allowing you to personalize the video further. Make it yours!
4. When will the film be received?
You can expect this to come with your final gallery! The film will be shipped and processed to Pro 8mm in California. From here, we’ll make our edits and deliver it along with the rest of your final images.
