420 Friendly Las Vegas Elopement | A Fun Sure Thing Too Ceremony + Downtown Celebration

Jocelyn and Abraham planned their 420 friendly Las Vegas elopement in a way that made complete sense for them. It was just the two of them heading to Las Vegas to get married quietly, while still making the day personal and fun!

From the start, it was clear they weren’t trying to follow any kind of traditional structure. They leaned into their style and their energy, and that shaped everything. As a Las Vegas elopement photographer and videographer team, days like this are always our favorite to document!

They also trusted us to capture everything on film and Polaroids. That combination added texture and depth to their gallery in a way that fits this kind of elopement so well!

A Stylish and Intimate Ceremony at Sure Thing Too

Their ceremony took place inside Sure Thing Too in downtown Las Vegas. It was perfectly simple and super intentional. They stood together and exchanged the sweetest vows. Without a crowd or timeline pressure, everything slowed down just enough for them to stay present with each other.

Jocelyn wore a black dress with a pink veil and matching pink shoes. The look was so unique and playful. Abraham showed up in a deep purple velvet suit. I loved the texture, and it translated beautifully on film! Together, their style worked so well because it felt natural and fully their own.

Celebrating with an Infused Cake at Fergusons Downtown

After the ceremony, we headed across the street to Fergusons Downtown for some cake! Their cake was made by The Cake Trap, a vegan bakery known for their infused creations. It was such an intentional choice, and it fit so well into the overall vibe of the day.

They shared bites, laughed, and stayed in that just-married energy without rushing into anything else.

A 420 Friendly Elopement That Let Them Be Themselves

One of the best parts of this day was how comfortable Jocelyn and Abraham were being fully themselves! As a 420 friendly photography and videography duo, we always want our couples to know they don’t have to hold back or fit into a specific version of what a wedding day should look like!

After cake, we walked over to the iconic pink wall. That’s where they shared a joint together as newlyweds. It was relaxed and personal, and it happened naturally without needing direction. That’s what makes a 420 friendly elopement stand out. It gives couples space to show up as they are and celebrate in a way that actually reflects their relationship.

Champagne and Downtown Las Vegas Lights

To close out the night, we popped a bottle of champagne and headed further into downtown Las Vegas!

We made stops at the Plaza and the Carousel Bar, taking in the classic Vegas lights along the way. The neon and movement added a different layer to the story and balanced out the quieter moments from earlier in the day.

They wandered, laughed, and stayed in it the entire time! Absolutely nothing was rushed or forced.

Why a 420 Friendly Las Vegas Elopement Works So Well

Elopements like this work so well because they remove expectations and replace them with personalization. Instead of following a structure that doesn’t fit, couples get to build a day that fully reflects who they are.

For Jocelyn and Abraham, that meant a private ceremony, an infused cake, and sharing a joint together before heading downtown. Every part of their day connected back to them!
