This Sure Thing Too elopement happened FAST and I am still not over it. Aurélie slid into my Instagram DMs literally the same day as their elopement! Their original photographer had to cancel just three hours before the ceremony, which is every couple’s absolute nightmare. Cue panic, chaos, and a whole lot of trust. Thankfully, I was available, fully charged, and ready to roll. Cameras in hand, I headed straight downtown to meet them at Sure Thing Too.
From the moment we connected, it felt like it was meant to be. We had one hour total. Thirty minutes inside the chapel, soaking in all the neon-lit, no-rules magic. Thirty minutes afterward getting tattoos because… obviously. No guests, no rigid timeline and no pressure to perform. Just the two of them showing up exactly as they are and choosing a wedding day that felt true to them.
That’s what made this Sure Thing Too elopement so special. It wasn’t about perfection or planning months in advance. It was about spontaneity, trust, and doing whatever the hell you want on your wedding day. And honestly? Those are always the ones that stick with me the longest.

Aurélie and Alexandre traveled all the way from France to elope in Las Vegas, and from the start, they knew they wanted something intimate, personal, and completely theirs. No crowd. No production. Just a quiet moment to get married. Sure Thing Too was the perfect fit for exactly that. And then came the best surprise. Their officiant, Maxime, is also from France. The second he opened the door, English was fully out the window. The entire ceremony unfolded in French, and it was incredibly beautiful. Soft, emotional, and deeply personal in a way you could feel immediately.
Watching Sure Thing Too host a ceremony completely in French was honestly unreal. Even without understanding every word, nothing was lost. The emotion translated itself. Their vows, the laughter woven between moments, the way they looked at each other like no one else existed. It was quiet, heartfelt, and grounded in connection, which is exactly what an elopement should be.
After the ceremony, we grabbed a few classic Sure Thing Too portraits. With time being tight, we kept things simple and intentional, focusing on the moments that mattered most. The soft chapel colors paired with their energy felt effortless and romantic, proof that you don’t need hours or extras to create something meaningful. Sometimes, all you need is the right place, the right people, and the freedom to do it your own way.

After we wrapped up at the chapel, we walked next door to Downtown Tattoo. Because of course they did tattoos after their elopement. It felt like the most natural next step. No outfit change, no pause to overthink it, just straight from “we’re married” to “let’s make this permanent.” Aurélie chose a Heart of Ace card design, featuring two A’s for their initials. Playful, romantic, and deeply personal. One of those tattoos that looks cool at first glance but means so much more when you know the story behind it.
This part of the hour felt relaxed and fun in the best way. No rush. No pressure. Just two people sitting in the moment, letting it sink in that they had just gotten married in Las Vegas and were marking it with permanent art. Laughter, quiet smiles, and that post-ceremony glow that doesn’t need direction. This Sure Thing Too elopement was the perfect reminder that you don’t need a long timeline or a packed schedule to tell a full, meaningful story. Sometimes an hour, a chapel, and a tattoo needle are more than enough.
