Neon Museum Wedding in Las Vegas | A Colorful, Iconic Celebration with Victoria & Matthew

As a Las Vegas wedding photographer, there are certain venues that always stand out. The Neon Museum is one of them! It’s bold, full of history, and completely different from anything else in the city. If you’re planning a Las Vegas wedding and want something full of character, a Neon Museum wedding could be a great choice for you!

Victoria and Matthew leaned fully into that energy for their wedding day. They gathered around 50 of their closest friends and family and had the most fun and playful day. Here’s a look at it!

A Golden Hour Neon Museum Wedding Ceremony

Victoria and Matthew’s ceremony took place outdoors under the Lady Luck sign. We had perfect weather, and I love the vintage signage that surrounded them out there!

They exchanged the sweetest vows, took a celebratory shot right after, and stepped into married life surrounded by their favorite people. After the ceremony, we moved straight into group photos. Then, we wrapped up our time at the Neon Museum with portraits of just the two of them. I loved giving them a moment to slow down and be together before heading into the rest of the night.

Why a Neon Museum Wedding is So Unique

The Neon Museum is dedicated to preserving vintage Las Vegas signs! The space is historic and creative. It’s really an experience that you can only have in Vegas!

A Venue with Built-In Personality

Every part of a Neon Museum wedding comes with its own character. The mix of colors, textures, and signage means your photos never feel repetitive.

Seamless Access to Downtown Las Vegas

One of the biggest advantages of having a wedding here is how close it is to Fremont Street. Victoria and Matthew were able to go straight from their ceremony into downtown portraits, which kept the energy going without needing extra travel time.

A Perfect Fit for Non-Traditional Couples

The Neon Museum works best for couples who want something different. If you’re drawn to bold visuals and vintage details, this space supports that without needing much else!

From the Ceremony to Downtown Las Vegas

After wrapping up at the museum, we made our way to Fremont Street for another round of photos. The transition from the historic signage at their Neon Museum wedding to the bright, fast-paced energy of downtown added so much variety to their gallery.

From there, they headed to their reception at The Dark Room LV, where the celebration continued. They had tacos, an ice cream truck, and an open bar ready for their guests, which immediately set a fun vibe for the night. They shared their first dance, listened to heartfelt speeches, and then the dance floor filled up and stayed full the rest of the night.

Tips for Planning a Neon Museum Wedding

If you’re thinking about having your own wedding here, here are a few tips that can make a big difference.

Tip 1: Plan your ceremony around golden hour.

About an hour before sunset will give you the best lighting and the most flexibility for photos. While the museum is really cool when it’s dark, it’s a little difficult to capture it all at night.

Tip 2: Keep your timeline focused.

Because the space already offers so much visual variety, you don’t need to overpack your schedule!

Tip 3: Pair your Neon Museum wedding with downtown Las Vegas photos.

This is another easy way to add some variety to your day, without adding extra complexity.
